
For some years nature photography consumed me. I worked in 35 mm because that's affordable and convenient. Eventually I began working with a 4 x 5" view camera. 35 mm is just too small a format for some things. It was obvious to me that a lot of very good work had already been done. There was no point in doing the usual wildlife other than to say I can do that too. The square images were made with Hasselblads. They're square. And sometimes that's the way it should be. I have yet to scan the large format work but I will get around to it one of these days.
